CONDITIONS AND PROCEDURES FOR REQUESTING THE LOAN OF WORKS FROM THE MUSEO FRANZ MAYER COLLECTION

The institutions or agencies in different locations interested in exhibiting pieces or artworks property of the Banco de México in its character as Trustee in the Franz Mayer Cultural Trust of the Museo Franz Mayer ( Banco de México Fideicomiso Cultural Franz Mayer) must make a request in writing at least three months in advance of the date when the pieces are to be picked up for the exhibition to be undertaken, in accordance with the information below.

1. Loan requests must be addressed to:

2. Information that must be given by the party interested in the loan to be included in a loan agreement:

a) Name and address of the institution or agency requesting the loan.
b) Name of the exhibition to be undertaken.
c) Location(s), address where the exhibition will be held. specifying the planned exhibition itinerary.
d) Opening and closing dates of the exhibition.
e) List of the works requested.
f) The institution's incorporation papers.
g) Copy of the notarized power of attorney or document accrediting the representative(s) of the institution or agency requesting the loan, with the faculty to sign the loan agreement. In the case of international loans, the Mexican Consulate in the country making the request will have to certify the legal character and validity of the power of attorney presented by the individual who will sign the agreement.
h) Reporte de condición ( Standard Facility Report).

3. The Director's Office of the Museum will study the loan request with their technical personnel, taking into consideration the loan policies established by the Board of Trustees, also taking into account the type of pieces, the place of exhibition, and the condition of the pieces.

4. In the event the loan is approved, the Banco de México Fideicomiso Cultural Franz Mayer will prepare a loan agreement with the detailed responsibilities of the parties.
